Wedding Photography Services are $750 for the complete inclusive package.
Other cities available for wedding photography include Lake Tahoe CA,Dallas TX, Atlanta GA, Ft Walton Beach FL, St. Louis MO, Nashville TN, Jackson MS, New York NY, and Los Angeles metro area.
For cities other than the Memphis area, wedding photography services will be priced at $1500 to cover travel expenses.
Capturing the events that unfold on a wedding day allows me to really take chances with my photography
- each wedding is another opportunity to express myself, and in the process, let you be you.
Weddings also allow me to create images that truly tell a story.
I make images in a series - they fit together and inform the viewer about the emotions, the environment,
and the people that took part in this special day. If you look at your photos the day after your wedding
and you see things that you had forgotten about or didn't know occurred, or you just sit and smile and think
to yourself that you just had one of the best days of your life, then I have succeeded. If you look at them again
in 10 or 30 years and are able to truly relive the day, then you made the right choice in hiring me.
How much does it cost to have my wedding photographed?
Prices are a flat rate of $1000.
This includes a full day scheduled with your wedding, a full set of 4X6 prints of 300 images
and a photo CD.
You keep the master digital files and there are no copyright restrictions on the images.We do not watermark the images.
This means that you can make as many prints of any size that you want at your convenience.
I shoot roughly 500-2000 images per wedding. This also means that what you pay is the real cost,
there are no hidden upsells after your wedding of pricey albums,
overpriced 8X10's, you own the rights to all pictures.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit equal to half of the total cost is required at the time of booking. We accept checks and offer a 10% cash discount ($1000 - $100 = $900, deposit would be $450)

I shoot Leica cameras and I shoot a mix of both film and digital.
This provides for a higher image quality as well as a unique photojournalistic approach to your special day.
My natural documentary style has always been to capture my subjects relaxed, unscripted, and enjoying themselves.
By operating inconspicuously, my wedding photography insures the comfort of you and your guests.
You can be assured that we will capture the mood of the day as it unfolds.
From those spontaneous moments to the family portrait, I incorporate a mix of traditional and photojournalistic styles.

Blake's unique vision of southern music and his access to many musicians
drives his unique style of creating images. Memphis is about music - real music,
not the synthesized pabulum that is fed to the masses as the junk you hear on the radio every day.
Blake's portrait photography reflects this vision.
His work shows a dystopian southern gothic tradition reminiscent of Styron, Harper Lee, Faulkner, Eudora Welty,
and other southern icons. A booze fueled southern landscape marred by a century of neglect,
southern sun, and tension of day to day life.
Memphis is about the smoke, drugs, noise, and lifestyle that is a part of the musicians' life.
There are many musicians in all phases of their career - big stars at the top of their game, unknowns playing gigs in
dives every night waiting to be discovered and fallen rock stars who used to be somebodies.
You find them everywhere in town. Memphis is a city crawling with character.
You will find the night illuminated by Beale Street.
By daylight, the neon glow fades to reveal a troubled city in the process of a post apocalyptic decay
brought on by the heat, the tensions in the community, and the Mississippi river.
Our city is fueled by a dirty, funky beat of Stax, Sun, and Hi records. This city is the canvas for
his art. Many days will find him strolling around decrepit neighborhoods with cameras in tow -
the every day activity of our residents may seem mundane to the natives, but to an outsider,
there lies a compelling story of poverty, hustle, hope and religion.
